Verbrec is a publicly listed company on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX:VBC).With our continued growth and recent project awards, our Perth CBD office requires a Project Engineer to join our Project Delivery Team.  We are looking for the candidate to provide a positive impact to our future growth that will be supported in advancing their career development.We offer a family friendly flexible working environment.About YouProject Engineer that brings the following skills and experience to support project delivery and be a part of our continued rapid growth:5-10 years' experience working in mining or hydrocarbons industryRelevant engineering degree or demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary EPC and EPCM projectsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsA demonstrated understanding of the project phases from design to constructionKnowledge of RTIO and BHP standards and specificationsRelevant experience in a project or design engineering team, with site and office deliverables in either a greenfields or brownfields environmentAbility to work with site and office-based teams (design, trades, client and contractors)Engineering design coordination experienceScheduling (MS Project/P6), monitoring and reporting projectsExperience in client interface meetings and maintaining project documentationProject Controls e.g. cost control and project forecastingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKey ResponsibilitiesDraft fortnightly reporting for key stakeholders.Assist in the management of all variation/TQ/RFI and action registers, control and update the project risk matrix.Monitor, control and report project progress against multiple project timelines, milestones and key performance indicators.Assist with the interface between engineering team members, sub-contractors and key stakeholders to provide solutions and support successful delivery of projects.Use scheduling and document management tools to update, track and record project performance.Package engineering of vendors Identify value engineering opportunitiesPreparation of work scopes for site implementation including IFC documentation and quality requirements.Assist with general project control duties including the management of variations by analysing the implications of scope change on issues such as cost, safety, quality and schedule.Visit us at https://verbrec.com/ to learn more about your career with VerbrecAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are encouraged to apply* Must have working Rights in Australia* 90000 AUD Australia - WA Perth CBD, Inner & Western Suburbs Perth 6000
